Collocated Resources
The data is gathered from the Oregon Institute of Technology Geo-Heat Center co-located geothermal resources study in 2004. Data provides information of existing geothermal resources at 399 cities and communities in the central and western United States that could potentially utilize geothermal energy for district heating and other residential and commercial direct use applications. A collocated community is defined as being within 8 km of a geothermal resource with a temperature of at least 50°C. Database contains information concerning the city or community and includes: location, population, temperature, flow rate, depth, and current utilization at the site.
