Identified Delineated-Area Low-Temperature (<90°C) Geothermal Systems
Data includes minimum, maximum, and most likely values for temperature, area, and thickness of the Identified delineated-area low-temperature (<90°C) geothermal systems (148 of 190 systems have coordinate information and presented in GT Prospector). The three values of each parameter were used to form a triangular density distribution for calculation of the energies for each system. The geologic province and mean transmissivity is also given for each system to provide a key to the summarized values for Identified delineated-area systems. The data is obtained from the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S.) Open-File Report 83-250 (Table-3) titled Low-Temperature (Less Than 90°C) Geothermal Systems in The United States; Reference Data for U.S.G.S. Circular 892.
